Hi Mostapha, I believe that only through a brush one can comment a painting.I'm all thumbs when it comes to using a brush, let alone painting. However, I won't miss this opportunity/ honor you gave me to feel and act for a "moment"(beyond time!) like an art critic. Thank you. Mostapha, you have created some awe-inspiring paintings.I really like the way you confidently/professionally move within the different nuances of the blue and grey colors. They're my favourite, by the way. The idea of contrasting them with the wheat summer yellow was just great.I can see there's a thematic echo of Van Gogh in your paintings, but I have to admit you've succesfully managed to have it "Farmatised". Lifeless, desolate and sad though some of your paintings might seem, yet they provide a moment of visual beauty mixed with intellectual and even spiritual provocation. Sad but beautiful! The sky is a leitmotiv in your paintings(well, the ones I have seen in this virual gallery so far)but it keeps changing within the same and every painting.I have the impression the smoky clouds are moving. Great technique, man! One more thing I want to say about your paintings is that the y made me rethink the popular saying: "The sky is the limit". Well, chez Mostapha, it is not!!!
Hi friend,Mustapha I think you're more a painter than a teacher .You have got a good hand ( sorry a good brush !) . Honestly your paintings are more than impressive . I notice that the sky is a predominant feature in your paintings ; but it's often cloudy . Are you expecting a storm ? May be next time you will go beyond the clouds and fly up to the seventh sky ! because the higher you rise ,the further you see . KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK . GOOD LUCK
My blog's title would actually have no significance if I gave the information one would usually give in this rubric. This blog is supposed to be,or at least that's how I want it,an escape from the mundane realities of everyday life...a break from the schackles of the 7 o'clock alarm, bedtime and what's in between..simply..a moment beyond time.
